To Our Valued Customers:
As I write this letter, we are probably on the short end of corn planting across the entire area, thanks to the very early spring conditions we have experienced. I hope the weather has been generally favorable for everyone with adequate precipitation to get the spring crops started. I’m sure everyone is hoping the commodity markets will “perk up” a little bit and provide some pricing opportunities yet this spring too. But, other than weather and markets, what have we got to worry about?
As we wind-up spring planting activity, there is lots going on around the dealerships these days. We have a planter Early Order Program already going and the self-propelled Sprayer Early Order Program kicking off in June. We expect factory availability of both of these products to remain very tight, so if you are considering the purchase of either of these products, be sure to see your local Sales Professional soon.
With wheat harvest just around the corner, it is not too early to be thinking about upgrading your combine. We have a huge selection of late model trades that have just come in. We literally have over 100 late model units for you to choose from….in all classes and ranges of options and hours. To move these combines, we are offering some great pricing, PowerGard™ extended warranty and excellent low-rate financing programs tailored to fit your needs.
I think there is a misperception out there that dealers do not stock new tractors anymore and that tractors have to be ordered months in advance. While factory availability remains tight, if you are in the market for a new tractor, we have over 30 row crop tractors either on the ground or coming in before fall harvest. See your local Sales Professional to see if one of these new tractors meets your specific job requirements. And, please don’t forget about our extensive inventory of late-model used tractors if that makes more sense for your operation.
This spring, we have again experienced tremendous growth in our various AMS products including rate controllers, Row Command™, Swath Control Pro™, 2630 Displays and StarFire 3000™ Receivers. With steadily increasing input prices for fuel, seed and fertilizer, the return on investment in these technologies is one of the best investments you can make.Your Sales Professional, or one of our Integrated Solutions Specialists, will be glad to demonstrate how easy these products are to operate and help you start on your journey into precision agriculture.
Elsewhere in this Flyer, you will see us introduce a new marketing approach we are trying in an effort to sell select items of used equipment that we call our “Hot List”. We have partnered with Purple Wave™ Auctions to create a unique buying opportunity for you. The 23 items we have identified on our “Hot List” will
definitely sell in an absolute auction on June 15th….unless we sell it by “private treaty” between now and June 1st. Our bet is we can make you a better deal on these “Hot List” items
before June 1st, than you can get on them on the auction, once these items get “locked-in” on June 1st and sell to the highest bidder on the 15th. Check out the website at
www.PurpleWave.com/21stCentury for more details.
In closing, I want to thank you for your business. We know you have lots of choices and I assure you the entire organization comes to work every day to work hard to make farming easier for you.
Sincerely,
Owen Palm
